CA Announces the Hire of Kyle Smith and Kyle Thomas

Top digital advertising talent joins behavioral microtargeting firm; Smith named Ad Operations Manager, Thomas named Art Director.

Cambridge Analytica, the market leader in the provision of data analytics and behavior communications for political campaigns, today announced the appointment of Kyle Smith to Ad Operations Manager and Kyle Thomas to Art Director. Both Smith and Thomas will be based out of Cambridge Analytica’s Washington D.C. office, bringing their diverse skill sets to an ever-growing team.

Smith joins Cambridge Analytica as Ad Operations Manager, where he will oversee digital advertising strategy and execution across clients. Prior to CA, Smith led digital analytics efforts for Ohio Governor John Kasich’s 2016 presidential campaign, where his work included analyzing trends and segmentation for the campaign’s robust $8,000,000 online donation program. Smith previously worked at Google on the Elections Team advising statewide Republican campaigns on advertising strategy and spending optimization, and also served on the Small & Medium Business team advising 150 diverse business clients in their advertising efforts.

Kyle Thomas, a Colorado native with a strong foundation in fine art, has become a well-known and impactful designer in the DC metro area. Thomas has designed large-scale websites and branding initiatives, worked with record and film labels across the U.S., and helped brand local start-ups. He worked most recently at Americans for Prosperity, where he spent the last two years as their Senior Visual Designer. He offers savvy and fortified design talent in multiple mediums including art direction, digital design, traditional graphic design, and has a distinctive style in photography and illustration. At Cambridge Analytica, his main role is leading design for the firm’s advertising and branding campaigns.
